2011 – The Highlights!
Despite the current economic difficulties 2011 proved to be another successful year for LPC (Trull) Ltd with the team of consultants providing support to their wide client base, and being successful on a large number of projects. 
A sample of the years’ highlights include:



New Housing schemes
- 70 houses at Mount Pleasant Farm, Longwell Green
- 14 houses at Abbots Road, Hanham
- 378 dwellings at Douglas Road, Kingswood
- 5 prestigious houses at Granville Road, Bath (Lansdown Ridge)
- 14 houses at Aldbourne
- 14 houses at Bucklands Garage, Chippenham
- New country house in the Cotswolds.

- Obtaining permission for an additional 7 dwellings on a scheme at 148 Hanham Road, Kingswood (with no affordable housing requirement due to a successful viability case being presented).

Gypsy Provision
- Obtaining permission for 7 permanent and 3 transit pitches.

Renewable Energy schemes
- Permission granted for 2 solar electricity generating sites providing outputs of 100KW and 30 KW respectively.

Land Restoration
- Obtaining permission for an agricultural restoration scheme, incorporating 45,000m3 of imported material by Churngold Recycling Ltd at Beech Hill Farm, Westerleigh.

Local Development Framework Promotion
- Promoting a major development at Tetbury comprising 110 dwellings and a care home.

Urban Flat Conversions
 - 45 Radnor Road, Bristol granted permission for its conversion into 2 flats.

Environmental Impact Assessment (Screening Opinion)
- Successfully justifying (by a Screening Opinion Challenge) that the continued use of a Waste Transfer Facility at Marshgate, Swindon should not be subject to Environmental Impact Assessment procedures.

Various Certificates of Lawfulness (existing & proposed) obtained
- 4 dwellings in Bristol
- Domestic extensions
- Restaurant use at Denmark Street, Bristol

Care Schemes
- Permission obtained at Saffron Gardens, Bristol for a new 72 bedroom specialist dementia care facility, including headquarters for the Brunel Care Group (designed by NOMA Architects)

Appeal Victories
- Change of use from B2 (General Industrial) to B8 (Storage or Distribution) at St Ivel Way, Bristol.
- 4 dwellings at Easter Compton
Lawfulness of dwelling at Severn Beach
Caravan storage (Certificate of Lawfulness), Nr Fairford
- Extension to listed building, Purton.

Rural Conversion Schemes
- Conversion of barns to tourism use at, Pipley Bottom, Upton Cheyney – Varnisters Farm, Siston and Berrymead Barn, Lower Hamswell.
- Change of use of agricultural outbuildings to B1 (Office) and B8 (Storage or Distribution) uses at Totteroak Farm, Horton.
- Use of outbuilding for Children’s Day Nursery use at One Pool Farm, Iron Acton.
- Conversion of barn to dwelling in Green Belt near Windsor.

Extensions to Dwellings in the Green Belt / Countryside
- Various permissions achieved, including; Beechwood House, Bath – Dobunni, Horton – Midway Manor, Bradford on Avon

Amenity Group Support
- Successfully assisting a local group to get a Certificate of Lawfulness (dwelling) refused at a Planning Committee (despite an officer recommendation for approval).
